About this video
A walkthrough from October 2021 of Sparks, the customer portal that connects your customers to your dealership in Flyntlok. It covers inviting a customer, a tour of what they see, placing an order and how that order shows up for your team.
Some details have changed since. The video describes a texted invite link and an available machines list as work in progress. Today customers use Sparks to order parts, pay, request service and check on their orders.
- Invite from the customer dashboard. Actions, then Sparks, creates two codes that are good for a week, or an email link for a new user.
- Your brand on the login. Link to Sparks from your website and put your logo on the login screen.
- Orders, machines and invoices. Customers see open orders, rentals and work orders, reprint invoices, fix a PO and reorder.
- Order with prices and stock. Common parts by machine, quantity on hand at their store, their discounted price and card payment.
- A check on customer picks. Orders arrive as customer drafts, and a red triangle marks parts the customer chose.

What the video covers
Inviting a customer
From the customer's dashboard, click Actions, then Sparks. Flyntlok generates two codes that are good for a week. A customer already on Sparks types in the codes to connect to your dealership. A new customer gets a link by email to create a Sparks login connected to you.
What customers see
You can link to Sparks from your own website and add your logo to the login screen. Inside, customers see anything open with you, like orders, rentals and work orders, plus their salesperson and a scrolling box your marketing team can fill with promotions. Customers who buy from more than one Flyntlok dealer pick which one they're working with.
Orders and machines
My Orders lists every order with its invoice, which customers can view, reprint, correct the PO on or reorder. My Machines lists the machines on their account, where they can ask to add one, report one sold, start a parts order or request service.
Placing an order
Customers pick the store and the machine, type or import parts or choose from common parts for that machine, and can save a draft for later. They see quantity on hand at that store and their price with discounts. Orders go on account terms or get paid by card, with text and email alerts for special order parts, a shipping method, notes and a PO number.
How it lands in Flyntlok
The order shows on the customer dashboard as a customer draft and becomes a customer order when it's ready to order. A red triangle marks parts the customer picked that nobody at the dealership has verified, a check against ordering the wrong part online. Current customers can start with Sparks by sending a question through the question mark in Flyntlok.

Book a walkthroughWhat is Sparks?
Sparks is the Flyntlok customer portal. Your customers use it to order parts, pay, request service and check on their orders without calling the dealership.
How do I invite a customer to Sparks?
Open the customer's dashboard and click Actions, then Sparks. Flyntlok creates codes that are good for a week to connect a customer already on Sparks, or a link you email to a new user.
How do I know which parts a customer picked themselves?
Parts on a Sparks order carry a red triangle when the customer specified them and no one at your dealership has verified them, so your team can check before the order ships.
