A day at a heavy truck dealership

Your day runs on uptime. So does Flyntlok.

Every hour puts a different person under pressure: the shop at first light, the service bay mid-morning, the lot after lunch, the office at closing. Here is where Flyntlok shows up for each of them.

Service manager and technician reviewing open work orders on a shop screen, with a truck and a motor coach in the bays
6:45 am, three trucks waiting
The shop

Fleet trucks dropped overnight, and every customer wants an ETA.

Every truck on one board

Techs clock time to the work order, order parts from the job, and pull up the unit's service history. The service manager sees every open job by status, so nobody walks the bays asking.

Warranty claims, done right

AI Tech Notes turn a tech's spoken explanation into Complaint, Cause, and Correction. On a Peterbilt or Kenworth, the claim goes to PACCAR from the work order, and the Decisiv case updates on its own.

Quote from live inventory

Sales sees every truck and trailer across your locations, with service history on the unit, and quotes right from the CRM. Follow-ups stay on the customer record, not in one rep's phone.

Every location, one live report

Customer story: STS

From five years of software struggles to full visibility in four weeks

STS Truck and Utility Trailer Sales has served fleets across Upstate New York and Pennsylvania since 1949. Its five locations sell, rent, lease, and service Utility, MAC, Landoll, and Pitts trailers, Kalmar Ottawa yard trucks, and truck bodies. STS moved from CDK to Flyntlok, and from day one its customers could request parts, see invoices, and check equipment availability in the customer portal.

“We've seen what happens when OEMs wall off their data, and dealers rely on outdated DMS platforms. It frustrates customers and slows down support. With Flyntlok, the data flows freely.”
Nick Jacobs, Sr. Director of Finance and Operations, STS

Why Flyntlok

Built by the Peterbilt dealer for all of Alaska.

Flyntlok started at a dealer's own counter, and that is still who it's built for.

The Flyntlok team

Flyntlok was founded by a former equipment dealer who needed software that kept up with his own stores. The team still builds that way, with new product updates every two weeks.

Is Flyntlok fleet maintenance software?

No. Flyntlok is a dealer management system for dealerships that sell, service, and rent medium- and heavy-duty trucks, buses, and equipment, utility, and semi-trailers. Fleets are your customers, and Flyntlok helps you serve them. If you run a fleet and only maintain your own trucks, fleet maintenance software is the better fit.

Which PACCAR integrations are live for Peterbilt and Kenworth dealers?

Seven: AutoOp for parts POs, MDI suggested orders, PACCAR's Online Parts Counter, Bond Loyalty offers, MSTS fleet-card pricing, PRWS warranty claims from the work order, and Decisiv cases. PACCAR price lists load on their own, and Peterbilt and Kenworth dealers use the same connections.

What does Flyntlok do for Volvo truck dealers?

Parts POs go to Volvo from the purchase order and are tracked to the invoice, MMI stock orders land on their own, and Volvo's parts, pricing, and supersessions stay current. Invoiced work orders go to Volvo nightly for service surveys. Volvo warranty claims from the work order are on the roadmap.

We sell Mack, Freightliner, or International. Can we run them on Flyntlok?

Yes. Flyntlok runs parts, service, sales, and rentals for every line you carry. Mack price files load on their own along with 400+ other brands, and you can upload any vendor file we don't cover yet from the price file portal.

Is Flyntlok a fit for trailer and bus dealers?

Yes. Equipment, utility, and semi-trailer dealers run on Flyntlok, including STS, which sells, rents, and services semi-trailers, yard trucks, and truck bodies from five locations. For bus and coach dealers, parts, service, and unit sales work the same way, and price files stay current for trailer and reefer lines like Dexter and Thermo King.

How does Flyntlok handle multiple locations?

Every location works from the same live data. Parts transfers between branches are documented, sales reporting rolls up across locations in real time, and Sage Intacct adds P&L by branch, department, and brand. STS runs five locations across New York and Pennsylvania on Flyntlok.

How long does implementation take?

Single-location dealers under 20 users usually run a fixed five-week plan. Larger groups run a custom plan, typically two to six months, timed around your busiest weeks. Either way, there's zero cost for implementation and migration.

Do you work with independent heavy-duty repair shops?

Yes, if you run a large single-location shop or more than one location. Flyntlok is built for busy parts counters, multi-bay service, and reporting across stores. A small shop will likely find it more system than it needs.
