About this video
A Flyntlok University video on the point of sale admin editor, found under the wrench at the top right. Most of its lists take new entries with the plus icon.
Recorded in December 2019, when the card machines list showed Charge it Pro details. Today Flyntlok processes cards through Gravity Payments, and the October 29, 2026 release redesigned the Payment Types editor so it flags critical setups and warns before a change disables payment features. With releases about every two weeks since, some screens have changed.
- Card transactions. Every approved and failed card transaction, linked back to its sales order.
- Card machines. Every card reader and the location it sits at.
- Invoice sources and shipping methods. Walk-in, phone or PO, and UPS, FedEx and USPS with a shipping percentage, minimum and maximum.
- Discounts. Discount reasons, and discount structures like 25 percent off list on a customer's account.
- Customer reasons and payment types. Why a new customer was added, and the payment types you accept, with how each one books.

Book a walkthroughWhere do I set up shipping methods for the point of sale?
Under the wrench, open the point of sale editor and go to Shipping Methods. Each method, like UPS, FedEx or USPS, carries a shipping percentage added to the invoice, with a minimum and a maximum.
Can I give a customer a standing discount?
Yes. Discount structures, like 25 percent off list price, can be added to a customer's account, and discount reasons cover one-off discounts like an employee discount.
