What is Smart Campaign?
Smart Campaign is Flyntlok's AI-powered customer outreach tool, built to make targeted SMS marketing faster and smarter. Instead of manually building lists and writing messages, you describe who you want to reach and what you want to say β and Flyntlok helps you do the rest.
Whether you're promoting a seasonal service, following up on warranty expirations, or reconnecting with customers who haven't visited in a while, Smart Campaigns gets your message to the right people with minimal setup.

Part 1: Getting Started
Accessing the Page
Navigate to CRM β Smart Campaigns.

Can't see it in the menu?
You may need to add it to your navigation via the Wrench Icon β Navigation. Alternatively, go directly to:

Click the + New Campaign button to begin.

Part 2: Building a Campaign
Step 1 β Build Your Target List
Start by choosing your audience. Click the AI Search button to use the new natural-language customer searcher.

Describe the customers you want to target in plain English. You can filter by:
- Equipment owned or purchased
- Purchase dates and warranty windows
- Machine hours or mileage
- Service history and attachments
- Parts purchased, locations, and tags

Step 2 β Write Your Message
In the Campaign Message section, click Generate with AI to create a template from a short description.

Flyntlok will populate a new template and show a live preview:

Tip: Save templates for reuse
Any message β whether AI-generated or manually written β can be saved by checking the "Save as New Template" option. Saved templates are managed in CRM Settings.

Step 3 β Review & Send
The Review & Send section lets you preview every message before committing. Click AI Review to check all messages for typos, grammar, spelling, and professionalism. Suggested corrections are presented for you to edit before accepting.

Clicking Save & Send Campaign will immediately send the SMS messages to your targeted customers. Double-check your list and message content first.

Part 3: Responses, Reporting & Follow-Ups
Automatic Responses
If a customer responds during an active campaign, Flyntlok generates a hand-off reply within seconds. These messages use the same SMS system as the rest of Flyntlok, so you'll see them in your SMS Hub.

How auto-responses work
The automatic response only fires once β customers cannot converse with the AI. The goal is to acknowledge the response with a friendly, personalized reply and create a Lead for a person to follow up on.

Reporting
The Reports tab shows a breakdown of your campaign's response activity. All responses generate a scored Lead, visible from this section:

Each Lead carries the customer's name, phone number, a score based on AI-generated sentiment of their response, and a summary of the conversation β all visible in the Lead Dashboard:

2026-04-02 β Beta Launch
The new Campaigns beta is now live! Please keep in mind that this is a very early preview and you may experience bugs while trialing this feature.
While portions of the page may change over time, your data will remain intact. The core functionality β building lists, creating templates, and handling SMS sending and responses β will persist through every iteration.
Note on AI Customer Search data
AI Customer Search data may be up to a day old. Our AI search is a work-in-progress built on a newer platform and is not yet guaranteed to contain real-time information.
Known Issues
- "Build with AI" agent mode should not be used at the moment. We're working on a new version of the agent platform, and this will be overhauled soon.
- Sending status β after clicking Send, you may need to refresh the page to see the campaign move from "Sending" to "Sent".
- Sent campaign actions β once a campaign is Sent, many actions will appear available even though they're disabled, and changes may not save. Use Actions β Duplicate to create a follow-up campaign with the same data.
- Excel import β may not be importing properly. Double-check your target list if using this feature.
