The fifth Flyntlok University video. Brandon Weaver, then a consultant at Flyntlok and now its Customer Success Lead, shows how reports work. Reports run throughout Flyntlok, and each one can be shaped to the way you work.
Recorded in September 2019 on an earlier version of Flyntlok. With releases about every two weeks since, some screens have changed.
- Search inside a report. Narrow a report of Doosan machines for rent down to excavators.
- Add columns. Drag the hours column in with the column chooser.
- Filter by value. Show machines with 3,000 hours or less that are available for rent.
- Save the view. Name it and make it public for the team, or keep it private.
- Export to Excel. Export all the data to a spreadsheet.

Book a walkthroughCan I save a filtered report view in Flyntlok?
Yes. Click Save New, name the view and choose whether it's public for others to use or private to you. It shows up in your list of views whenever you come back.
Can I export a Flyntlok report to Excel?
Yes. Click the export icon and choose Export All Data to download the report as an Excel spreadsheet.
Can I filter a report by a number, like machine hours?
Yes. The search options include less than or equal to, so you can show only machines with 3,000 hours or less, for example.
