How Can We Help?
Brackets Busted, Features Bulldozing Ahead đđ
Happy April Fool's Day from the Flyntlok team! đ No pranks here though â just real updates to make your dealership run smoother. Our March Madness brackets, on the other hand? Total disaster. Busted beyond repair. But we're channeling that energy into building the features you've been asking for.
Before we get into those details, we want to make sure you all saw the invitation for our webinar coming up on April 7th at 12 p.m. ET, The Data You Need Right Now to Survive Busy Season (and Win the Year).  In it, Flyntlok CMO Jenny Moebius will sit down with Sara Clements-Hey (Bob Clements International) and dealer owner Clifford Dale (State Tractor & Equipment) to talk through the customer and service data dealerships should be capturing right now. Theyâll identify must-have data points, sales questions that unlock upsell and repeat business, how Cause/Complaint/Correction data drives real dollars.  Click here to register.
We also want to introduce a new addition to these release notes, an update on whatâs coming up next, so you all have insight into whatâs coming up next. Â Youâll find this at the bottom of the page.
Wishing you all a smooth and productive start to the spring season!
Small Features
Pop-up Next To âUpdate Item Cost/Priceâ Check Box [#83077]
Opportunity
When an item is being received and the purchase order line price does not match the itemâs cost, the âUpdate Item Cost/Priceâ check box is checked automatically to indicate that to the user. This behavior is helpful but the system could be communicating more information about the discrepancy.
Solution
We added a popup next to the check box to inform the user if the costs are matching or not, and if not what the two costs are currently. This will allow the user to make a decision about whether to update or not without having to navigate to the item dashboard.

Machine Accounting Preview on MPO Voucher [#78275]
Opportunity
Finance and inventory teams wanted greater confidence in how machine receiving posted in QuickBooks Online. Previously, the voucher allowed direct editing of Machine Asset and Machine Expense fields, even though the actual posting accounts were always derived from the selected QB Income Item. This mismatch created confusion and made it harder to trust the accounting workflow.
Solution
We've improved the MPO voucher accounting experience to make posting behavior more transparent and reliable. When receiving machines, reviewing or editing the QB Income Item now clearly shows the corresponding Machine Expense and Machine Asset accounts that will be used for posting.

To reduce confusion, we have also removed the ability to directly edit the QB Machine Asset and Machine Expense fields within the voucher, since these values are determined by the selected QB Income Item. This creates a clearer audit trail, improves accounting accuracy, and helps prevent reconciliation surprises.
Resolved Issues
Merge Option Removal on Return Purchase Order [#81541]
Complaint:Â Customer reported that they were unable to merge items on a return purchase order.
Correction:Â Removed the merge option on return purchase orders. This functionality is only permitted to be done on regular purchase orders - not return purchase orders.
Add Guam Timezone [#80311]
Complaint:Â Customer reported that when creating a new user, the timezone for Guam was missing in the dropdown.
Correction:Â Fixed.
Purchase Plan Generated after Associating Machine [#83849]
Complaint:Â Managers reported that machine Purchase Plans were being generated for model lines that already had a machine associated with them. This was confusing as there is no need to purchase a machine if one was already assigned to the model line on the sales order.
Correction:Â Fixed.
Sublet Revenue for Flat-Rate Jobs [#82420]
Complaint:Â Customer reported that sublet revenue was appearing in the parts revenue column on a flat-rate job work order. This prevented the customer from seeing the correct profit margin breakdown.
Correction:Â Fixed.
Sold Machine Search on Sales Order [#82974]
Complaint:Â Customer reported that they were unable to search for any sold machines when an âInternal - Intra Cost of Saleâ or âInternal - Intra Capitalizationâ customer was selected on a sales order. This only affected a small number of tenants, who have an âIntra-Departmentalâ customer type associated with the aforementioned customers.
Correction:Â Fixed.
Add Ability to Hide Filters and Show Time Spent in Service Scheduler [#81805]
Complaint:Â Customer reported that they have a display only screen with the service scheduler loaded and want the ability to hide the work order filters list on the left hand side so that the calendar takes up the whole screen.
Correction:Â Fixed.
Duplicate Restock Fee Lines on Return Invoices [#82808]
Complaint:Â Salespeople reported that creating a return invoice could sometimes generate duplicate restock fee lines, which could not be removed manually.
Correction:Â Fixed.
Empty Labor Type Dropdown on Mobile Work Orders [#83550]
Complaint:Â On mobile Work Orders, technicians sometimes found the Labor Type dropdown empty when adding labor to a job. Since this field is required, it prevented labor from being added.
Correction:Â Fixed.
Ready Quantity Incorrect After Changing Shipping Type [#83667]
Complaint:Â Users reported that changing the shipping type on a Sales Order line that was partially stock and partially special order caused the Ready quantity to only reflect the stock-allocated amount. This could block fulfillment of the full order.
Correction:Â Fixed.
